Who We Are

Gekko Garden Restaurant is a small open air restaurant specializing in Western and Thai food in the heart of Chiang Mai. We carry a selection of local beers and various local and imported spirits.

There are 2 large TVs located in view of most patrons to view sporting events or news. The tables are aged and sturdy.

The English speaking staff is nice and sociable. The staff are provided with a fair wage, health care and friendly working environment. Some have even received financial and housing support. All staff are legally employed.

There are other restaurants where the ambiance is what you would find in a building with 4 walls and conditioned air. We have small walls with green shrubbery that allows the Chiang Mai air to flow freely throughout the restaurant. We can't keep out the heat of the summer or the smoke during fire season but we can keep you dry during the rainy season.
